Vijay Mishra oversees all aspects of the Firm’s business units, including commercial real estate investment, management, leasing, and its significant ground-up and rehabilitative construction projects. Mr. Mishra began investing in commercial real estate in 2011 following a 14-year career in building custom single-family homes across Houston. Since the purchase of his first property, Mr. Mishra has purchased over one million square feet of real estate and been instrumental in the execution of real estate transactions exceeding $150 million in volume. Mr. Mishra has served on the governing board of municipal utility districts since 1996. He earned his MBA from University of St. Thomas in Houston in 1997 after earning his BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. He is married with three adult children who all attended business school and involved with real estate investment in some capacity.

Shiv Mishra manages the firm’s commercial real estate investment business and is principally responsible for executing the firm’s acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management functions. He joined in 2017 and has since participated in many complex transactions and is able to navigate the dynamic capital markets landscape. Shiv has developed a strong skill in competitively underwriting assets and creatively structuring accretive outcomes with the same motivation that his counterparts have. Shiv earned his business degree in real estate finance from the McCombs School at the University of Texas at Austin. He was a member of the McCombs Real Estate Finance and Investment Center. He remains enthusiastic in his lifelong aviation interest, but also enjoys to travel and devotes much of his free time to the Texas Longhorns.
