The Mishra Group exits NASA area business park
Friendswood, TX — The Mishra Group closed on the acquisition of Dickinson Plaza, an approximately 100,000 square foot retail shopping center situated at the freeway intersection of Gulf Freeway and FM 517.
The Mishra Group purchased the Property from Dixie Partners, a private partnership with holdings across Texas. Dixie sold the Property after owning it for 18 years.
"Dickinson Plaza presents the opportunity for national, regional, and local tenants to position their business in an easy-to-access, well-kept, and recently expanded area," said Shiv Mishra, Director of Acquisitions.
Dickinson Plaza features Boot Barn, a national western goods retailer; Star Fine Furniture, a regional furniture store with origins on Galveston Island; Family Dollar, one of the nation's leading dollar-store concepts; and Monterey's Little Mexico, a regional, multi-state Mexican restaurant chain formed nearly 70 years ago in Houston.
"End of the year closings are not clockwork. Many parties involved go on vacation, folks are ready for the holidays, but we were able to cross some last-minute roadblocks and bring this acquisition across the finish line." Mishra added. "We take pride in our promise of execution, and we work hard to maintain it."
The Mishra Group will manage and lease the Property internally. The Firm is continuing to aggressively pursue dominant, nationally anchored retail shopping centers in strong demographic trade areas across the Southeastern United States.
